FIRE SHUTTER DOORS
Fire rated roller shutters are designed to be apart of an overall fire and smoke control system, designed to prevent fire from spread in, saving lives and limiting damage to buildings.
We offer our fire roller shutter doors from 1-hour rated to the maximum of 4-hour rated.
Our fire shutters are electrically operated via a single-phase (240V) tube motor which is connected to a maintained supply. Where a maintained supply is not available, we recommend a battery backup system, enabling the door to operate in the event of a power failure under fire conditions.
Fire doors are designed to power down in an event of a fire.
We offer the following release mechanisms:
Manual Solenoid release
Auto solenoid release
Our roller shutters are supplied with anti-fall safety brakes, either built into or separate to the motor to ensure that the door does not fall more than 300 mm to comply with the latest regulations
All our doors are fully compliant to the latest health and safety regulation.
All doors are tested to the CPR (Construction Products Regulation) (EN13241-1:2003 + A1:2011).
Each door is fully compliant to the machinery directive ( 98 / 37 / EC).
All of our roller shutters can be finished in galvanised or powder coated to any standard RAL or BS colour.
Powder coating is offered as full surrounds or curtain only.
